About Our Library
Mission
The Mission of the Library is to assemble, preserve and administer books, non-print materials and technology; and to assist patrons in the use of these resources for the improvement of individuals and the community as a whole.
Philosophy
The keystone to a quality education in each school is a strong central library media center. The role of the library media center will be to provide the resources to support the educational plan of the school. The library media specialist will assist students in the acquisition of information and knowledge.
Library media specialists will collaborate with teachers to instill in students the joy of reading and integrate the library media curriculum with classroom experiences and individual interests.
Students will learn how information in its various formats can be retrieved for use in order that they enjoy lifelong learning.

Our Librarian

Our librarian, Ms. Parker, has worked in our library for the last 7 years. She is a HUGE fan of mystery and adventure books. She and her family have 3 adorable poodles.
During good weather, you might see her riding her 1963 Schwinn Fiesta to school. And if you're lucky when out and about town you just might catch the whole family riding their vintage Schwinn tandems. They are probably out to get ice cream.
Ms. Parker has recently added Google Apps in Education Qualified Individual to her list of accomplishments. She has also joined the legion of other librarians connecting professionally on Twitter.

Book Borrowing
Kindergarten-Second Grade: Allowed to take out ONE book per week
Third-Fifth Grade: Allowed to take out ONE books per week
Only ONE magazine may go out with a student at a time.
Third-Fifth Grade: Allowed to take out ONE books per week
- All books are due back one week from when they were borrowed.
- Students can renew a book as many times as they would like, except if another student has requested the book.
- Students can return their books to the Library any time the school is open.
- Students can check out books any time the Librarian is free to help them.
Only ONE magazine may go out with a student at a time.
